Intermediate Championship
Caulry 3-6 St Joseph’s 1-9
Caulry got their ladies intermediate championship champaign off to a winning start on Thursday last in Kilbeggan. In a very competitive but sporting contest, both sides gave everything in pursuit of victory in thrilling end to end match with Caulry’s greater teamwork shading the issue.
The swirling breeze made scoring difficult and St Joseph’s led 0-5 to 0-3 at the interval with a great penalty save from Jade Harney keeping Caulry well in contention.
Caulry were quickly into their stride on the resumption and a great team move was flicked to the net by Aishling Gaynor. The game continued at championship pace with points exchanged before a training ground move was finished with Aine Gaynor netting. When Aine netted her second major, there was daylight between the teams for the first time. However, the opposition replied with a goal of their own to set up a close finish. When Caulry were awarded a penalty which went wide, they then had to repel a final Joseph’s attack in a frantic finish.
This was a great all round team performance by Caulry who now travel away on this Thursday for another difficult assignment versus Tyrrellspass.

Minor Championship
Our minor girls started their championship with a home game against a tough Coralstown Kinnegad team, it was a great competitive game that will do wonders for the confidence of our young minor team.  Next up is an away game against St. Loman's, fingers crossed for another showcase of great football.

U- 16's
Having reached the Division 2 league final earlier this year and coming up against a very strong Rochfortbridge outfit, our girls are in Division 1 Championship this year. We've 2 games under our belt, a lss against Coralstown Kinnegad in our first round and a win against St. Loman's.  We host Garrycastle next week in the third round and are really looking forward to playing against our near neighbours.

U-14's
Division 3 Championship for this enthusiastic panel of girls.  With 2 wins for 2 against St. Loman's (2) and Multyfarnham, we play Delvin St. Paul's next week at home.  These girls had a great day out in Croke Park shouting for all the teams in the junior, intermediate and senior All-Ireland finals on Sunday.

U-12's
Our U-12 girls have had a great time playing GoGames this year, we're nearly at the end of Phase 2, in these fixtures they play all different teams in the county, with everyone getting game time, there are no scores published for these games. The girls played Kilbeggan during the week, the rain stayed away and we had some fast flowing football, some great defending by both teams making it a very entertaining game, up next we play host to Moate, looking forward to another great game with our neighbours.

U-8's & U-10's
These girls play blitzes as a way of improving their skills, these are hosted on a monthly basis in a different club every time, this way we play a different set of clubs each time.  Their next blitz is this weekend.
