Irvine then thanked former coaching officer Shane Carroll for his contributions and further extended gratitude to all sponsors and the support from our senior and ladies committees. Outgoing minor secretary John Dolan then spoke. He accredited the ongoing volunteerism within our club and thanked all those for giving up their time to help out in any way. A full report of the football action from the year was then presented with a spokesperson from each group giving a run down of happenings.
The election of officers then took place and the following wer elected for the coming year:

U13 Shield Final Winners Medal Presentation
Our U13 team who were crowned Division 4 Shield Winners were honoured on Sunday evening last when they were presented with their medals by our club and county star Kevin Maguire. The following is a report from the lucky day back in October when they were crowned Division 4 Shield champions.
On Sunday 22nd of October Caulry U13’s travelled to Tubberclair for the Division 4 Shield final to take on Lilliput Gaels.
Conditions were ideal for football and the Caulry lads didn’t disappoint. From the throw in Darragh Belton and Brian Moran combined well to set up Cathal Casey, who pointed well. This was followed by a Simeon O’Flaherty point following good work from Brian Moran and Sionnach Winters. The Lilliput forwards were kept at bay by the tenacious full back line of Kyle Mason, Evan Allen and Shea Ledwith, with keeper Devon Martin commanding the square.
After good interplay between Senan Hatton and Darragh Belton a long ball was worked into the corner where Simeon O’Flaherty crossed a high ball back into the opposition goalmouth which was fisted by Stephen O’Reilly into the back of the net. Simeon O’Flaherty followed up with his second of the game after good work from Sean Maguire and Caelan O’Neill.
From the resultant kickout Brian Moran and Conor Padden turned over the opposition and fed Sionnach Winters who pointed well . The opposition responded with a well taken goal but Sionnach Winters got his second of the game after linking up well with Cahal Casey to settle things down. Lilliput made a raft of changes bringing on five subs and reaped the rewards with the next score, but great defending from Devon Martin and the back six kept Lilliput out, before referee Vinny Cox blew the whistle for half time with Caulry ahead by four points.
Upon the resumption Lilliput pointed to leave one score between the teams and instilled new confidence in them but the Caulry lads weren’t in the humour for quitting. Evan Allen and Conor Padden shored up the middle letting no man through. Senan Hatton and Sean Maguire were gelling well with corner forwards Cathal Casey and Stephen O’Reilly. Brian Moran and Simeon O’Flaherty set up Adam Ledwith for a fantastic goal. Simeon followed up a point of his own. Darragh Belton and Caelan O’Neill combined well to set Sean Maguire in for Caulry’s third goal . Lilliput tried their best but the ever reliable Shea Ledwith and Kyle Mason were cleaning up in the back line and with Devon Martin finding his men with the kickouts, Caulry drove on. Adam Ledwith kicked a sweet point in between two points from the left boot of Sionnach Winters. Lilliput did try hard to breach the Caulry rearguard but Joe Walsh was steadfast in defence limiting them to a point. In the final play of the game Lilliput threw the kitchen sink at the Caulry goal but a fantastic save from Devin Martin ensured Caulry finished victorious on a scoreline of 3-09 to 1-03.
Team: Devon Martin, Kyle Mason, Evan Allen, Shea Ledwith, Sean Maguire, Conor Padden, Senan Hatton, Darragh Belton, Brian Moran, Caelan O’Neill, Sionnach Winters, Adam Ledwith, Stephen O’Reilly, Simeon O’Flaherty, Cathal Casey.
